A Lover's Tale

This is one of my all time favorite Disney Crossover couples The Colonel is so handsome, and together their settings work so well. I couldn't not make a crossover for them eventually

Here's sort of how I picture their story going...

Pocahontas acts as a translator and quasi-diplomat between her people and the white settlers in the area. She was one of the first of her tribe to volunteer for a christian education, learning to read, write and speak English while also familiarizing herself with the stories and teachings of Jesus Christ. Pocahontas refused to ever renounce her native beliefs, but welcomed the new ideas of the white religion.
When the U.S Calvary establishes a fort nearby, the chief's daughter arrives to greet the new Colonel and serve as his aid when working with the native population. He is instantly taken by her beauty and charm, and is pleasantly surprised by her English and wit. She in turn admires his warrior-like strength, Gentlemanly graces and his openness to better understand her people and their ways.
Through their time working together they grow closer, their attraction for one another is hard to hide. One winter's night, after they've embarked on a week long journey to negotiate with a neighboring tribe, Pocahontas takes the initiative and enters his tent. The rest, as they say, is history.

I like the idea that due to her acceptance of religion, the two of them would get married. But when word breaks out that a U.S Colonel has married a native woman, he decides instead of being disgraced to turn in his uniform and step away from duty to be with the woman and family he loves.
