Thoth

Introducing a new member to the Nebula's Tide cast: Thoth Montu.

This Egyptian inspired creature popped into my head yesterday and he's been plaguing my mind all day and night so I decided to give him a debut.

Thoth belongs to a race know as the Duata.Iill. Despite being a beast species, they are very powerful within the universe. Their strength in warfare and unyielding cunning within the political spectrum has brought them eons of respect and fear from the Federation and the Quarantine galaxies alike.
Thoth is one of the Duata.Iill's secretaries of war and currently holds a seat on the Galactic Court. He was a general ages ago, but after returning home a decorated war hero he decided to take on the next most vicious and challenging field: politics.
He's very wealthy and very smart. But he often finds himself bored with his career and social life. Thoth is craving something different, something new that he's yet to dominate... Who knows what will happen when he finds it.

I'm pretty thrilled with his design At first I was drawing him with long flowing hair but then I thought, since so many of my characters have that look, why not make him smooth and clean. I imagine his body would feel like the soft pelt of a seal   

Anyway, just a quick break between commissions to get this cool dude out of my head.
