Down the Bayou

"Gonna take you all the way"

At long last i got to finish this piece! i've had this image in my mind for EVER! Steele as Ray the fire fly singing and prancing down the bayou. Since Both Ray and Steele are voiced by my favorite voice actor Jim Cummings, i always picture Steele singing this song when i hear it.
Steele is one of my favorite characters. i love his cocky and charismatic attitude, his aggression, and just the way he moves. (seriously, watch Balto again and observe the swagger ) for these reasons and more i've wanted to make a few drawing of Steele in the place of other characters that share his voice.

my first is of Ray the fire fly during his song Gonna Take You There. Steele wears a lantern around his neck to act as his light he would have as a fire fly.

this was so much fun to make, and i can't even say how happy i am with the end result! (despite having to do half of it all over again when my computer shut down on me. )
lol but it all worked out in the end, and for that i'm relieved.
