Don't You, Forget About Me

It's really quite tragic how much I disregard Matthew as a character. He's somehow fallen from the romantic interest of my story to the moldy forgotten piece of white bread on my mental shelf.

BUT NO MORE!!!!!

This is Matthew!
He's also in Vagabonds (believe it or not),
He's Grace's boyfriend and the central love interest in the story.
(Granted this version applies to the Earth AU I'm mentally developing about these characters, hence the city street and modern clothes, but eh, comme ci, comme ca). Normally we'd see him in jeans and a t-shirt, wearing his ombre hair down. But this is how he might appear on night out with Gracie

Matthew is soft spoken and easy going. He's known for not saying a lot in large groups while being the one with all the answers. He's great to have with in a freak out situation and is a wonderful listener. He's generous and understanding, but can take things very personally at times. He's trusting, but because of his concern toward others he can also seem jealous.

Matthew prefers to socialize in small groups. He loves the alone time he gets with Grace. He's a very tender lover, passionate in their relationship and supportive of her independent career.

He has a 3 year old Golden Retriever named Molly.


Ta-Da! I hope to also do a lot more art for him and Grace, to really show off and develop their relationship.

Though I'm a sucker for villains who lust over heroins, I always want the girl to end up with her true love in the end (which in this case is very obviously Matthew.) Twisted relationships belong in our headspace, not in real life.
